To Our Loyal and Valued Clients,
As some of you may already know, we have renovated our location in the Metrotown Mall. During the 30 day renovation period, we moved from our current location near T&T Supermarket upstairs to a temporary unit in order to continue serving our loyal customers. Upon completion of the renovations, we moved out of the temporary location and back downstairs.
On May 3, 2019 it was discovered by the new tenants of the temporary location we occupied, that we inadvertently left some ICBC documents in a cupboard. From the time we moved back downstairs and the time of discovery, the unit was vacant and was never occupied.
ICBC has collected the documents, and we have installed measures to ensure no such incident can occur again as the privacy of our clients is of the utmost importance.
We are cooperating with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC and their investigation.
If you dealt with our Burnaby location with any ICBC matters from mid 2014 to early 2015, and if your documents needed to be voided during the ICBC transaction process, your information may have been involved in the potential breach.
